The issue of the moment, which should definitely alarm KSP’s like Kris, Gretchen and Ruffa, is Malu “the ultimate poser” Fernandez. Brandishing her bigotry via a travel article (?) she wrote on her column in People Asia magazine and a supposed defense (?) giving a laughable alibi (acerbic wit?) on Manila Standard, this woman has caught the ire of a huge number of bloggers, and just about anyone whose brains are bigger than their boobs. I may not have a lot to say about the whole controversy except that I agree with most points stated by the other bloggers, but one greta thing that I realized is how this whole hullabaloo sort of created an assembly and united a lot of Filipinos. And how in spite of everything that’s going on, most doesn’t think we’re hopeless, and are still proud to be Pinoy.
